ودع منتخب ماليزيا كأس آسيا السعودية 2027 رسمياً رغم أنه كان متصدراً منتخبات المجموعة السادسة من التصفيات المؤهلة إلى البطولة بعدما ألغى الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم الثلاثاء فوزها في مباراتين بالتصفيات على نيبال وفيتنام، كما فرضت غرامة على الاتحاد الماليزي لكرة القدم بمبلغ 50 ألف دولار؛ وذلك لمشاركة 7 لاعبين غير مؤهلين لتمثيل البلاد.
وأدى القرار التأديبي الصادر من الاتحاد الآسيوي إلى تحويل نتيجة المباراتين إلى خسارة ماليزيا بنتيجة 3-صفر، مما جعلها متأخرة بست نقاط عن فيتنام متصدرة المجموعة السادسة، وأزال أي إمكانية حسابية للتأهل، مع تبقي مباراة واحدة على نهاية التصفيات، ليكون الترتيب الجديد للمجموعة، كالتالي: فيتنام في الصدارة بـ15 نقطة، يليه ماليزيا ثانياً بـ9 نقاط، ومن ثم لاوس ونيبال برصيد 3 نقاط لكل منهما، وسيلتقي فيتنام على ملعبه وبين جماهيره نظيره الماليزي في مباراة تحصيل حاصل بعد أن ضمن التأهل للنهائيات.
وقال الاتحاد الماليزي لكرة القدم في بيان عبر موقعه على الإنترنت إنه سيطلب أسباب القرار من لجنة الانضباط والأخلاقيات التابعة للاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم، ثم ينظر في خطواته التالية.
وأيدت محكمة التحكيم الرياضية جزئيا في وقت سابق من هذا الشهر، العقوبات التي فرضها الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (الفيفا) على سبعة لاعبين لعبوا لصالح ماليزيا باستخدام وثائق تجنيس مزورة، وقضت بإيقافهم لمدة عام واحد عن المباريات الرسمية، لكن يمكنهم الاستمرار في التدريب مع أنديتهم.
كما أيدت محكمة التحكيم الرياضية الغرامة التي فرضها الفيفا على الاتحاد الماليزي لكرة القدم والبالغة 350 ألف فرنك سويسري (444275 دولارا).
وكان فاكوندو جارسيس لاعب ديبورتيفو ألافيس من بين سبعة لاعبين أوقفهم الفيفا لمدة عام واحد في سبتمبر الماضي، بعد اكتشاف استخدامهم وثائق مزورة حتى يتمكنوا من اللعب مع ماليزيا في تصفيات كأس آسيا ضد فيتنام.
واللاعبون الآخرون، هم: جابرييل أروتشا (أونيونيستا سالامنكا)، ورودريغو أولغادو (أمريكا دي كالي)، وإيمانول ماتشوكا (فيليز سارسفيلد)، وجواو فيغريدو ويون إيرازابال وهيكتور هيفيل (جوهور دار التعظيم)، وتم في ذلك الوقت إيقاف اللاعبين السبعة لمدة 12 شهرا عن جميع الأنشطة المتعلقة بكرة القدم.

The disciplinary decision issued by the Asian Football Confederation resulted in the matches being converted to losses for Malaysia with a score of 3-0, which placed them six points behind Vietnam, the leader of Group 6, and eliminated any mathematical possibility of qualification, with one match remaining in the qualifiers. The new standings of the group are as follows: Vietnam in first place with 15 points, followed by Malaysia in second with 9 points, and then Laos and Nepal with 3 points each. Vietnam will host Malaysia in a match that is a formality after securing qualification for the finals.
The Malaysian Football Association stated in a statement on its website that it will request the reasons for the decision from the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Asian Football Confederation, and then consider its next steps.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport partially upheld earlier this month the sanctions imposed by FIFA on seven players who played for Malaysia using forged naturalization documents, ruling that they be suspended for one year from official matches, although they can continue to train with their clubs.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport also upheld the fine imposed by FIFA on the Malaysian Football Association, amounting to 350,000 Swiss francs ($444,275).
Facundo Garcia, a player from Deportivo Alavés, was among the seven players suspended by FIFA for one year last September after it was discovered that they used forged documents to be able to play for Malaysia in the Asia Cup qualifiers against Vietnam.
The other players are: Gabriel Arocha (Unionista Salamanca), Rodrigo Olgado (America de Cali), Emanol Machuca (Vélez Sarsfield), João Viegas, Iñigo Erazabal, and Héctor Hevil (Johor Darul Ta’zim). At that time, the seven players were suspended for 12 months from all football-related activities.
