كشف نجم مانشستر سيتي رودري موقفه من احتمال انتقاله إلى ريال مدريد مع اقتراب انتهاء عقده مع ناديه.
وقال رودري في تصريحات لإذاعة «أوندا سيرو» الإسبانية: «هل أرغب في العودة إلى الليغا، في مدريد؟ نعم، أرغب في العودة، بالطبع».
وأضاف اللاعب الفائز بجائزة الكرة الذهبية 2024: «يتبقى لي عام واحد في عقد مع مانشستر سيتي؛ سيأتي وقت يتعين علينا فيه الجلوس والتحدث».
لا يمكن رفض أفضل أندية العالم
وأوضح رودري أن لعبه مع أتلتيكو مدريد لن يمنعه من الانتقال إلى منافسه المحلي، قائلاً: «هناك لاعبون آخرون سلكوا هذا الطريق، ربما ليس مباشرة، ولكن مع مرور الوقت، لا يمكنك رفض أفضل الأندية في العالم».
لا أزمة مع فينيسيوس
وقلل نجم السيتي من شائعات وجود أزمة مع نجم ريال مدريد فينيسيوس جونيور بعد أن قاطع الأخير حفل جائزة الكرة الذهبية لعام 2024، حيث قال: «أعتقد أنهم أرادوا خلق منافسة بيني وبين فينيسيوس، لكن هذا لم يحدث على الإطلاق».
وختم رودري قائلاً: «أكن احتراما كبيراً لفينيسيوس ولما قدمه في ذلك العام أيضاً، في النهاية، هناك أشخاص آخرون هم من يقررون من يتوج بجائزة الكرة الذهبية».
Manchester City star Rodri revealed his stance on the possibility of moving to Real Madrid as his contract with his club nears its end.
Rodri said in statements to the Spanish radio station “Onda Cero”: “Do I want to return to La Liga, to Madrid? Yes, I want to return, of course.”
The player, who won the Ballon d’Or in 2024, added: “I have one year left on my contract with Manchester City; there will come a time when we need to sit down and talk.”
You can’t refuse the best clubs in the world
Rodri clarified that playing with Atlético Madrid would not prevent him from moving to their local rival, saying: “There are other players who have taken this path, maybe not directly, but over time, you can’t refuse the best clubs in the world.”
No issue with Vinicius
The City star downplayed rumors of a rift with Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior after the latter skipped the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony, stating: “I think they wanted to create a rivalry between me and Vinicius, but that has never happened at all.”
Rodri concluded by saying: “I have great respect for Vinicius and what he achieved this year as well; in the end, there are other people who decide who wins the Ballon d’Or.”
