ويطمح ريال مدريد، بقيادة مدربه ألفارو أربيلوا، لتحقيق الانتصار الثامن توالياً في الليغا، وخطف الصدارة مؤقتاً من غريمه برشلونة، الذي سيواجه جيرونا يوم الإثنين ضمن منافسات الجولة ذاتها.
ويحتل «الملكي» المركز الثاني في جدول ترتيب الدوري الإسباني برصيد 57 نقطة، متأخراً بنقطة واحدة عن برشلونة المتصدر، وقد تلقى الفريق دفعة معنوية باستعادة نجمه البرازيلي فينيسيوس جونيور، بعد غيابه عن اللقاء الماضي بسبب تراكم البطاقات الصفراء.
ريال سوسيداد يبحث عن المفاجأة
في المقابل، يعيش ريال سوسيداد فترة جيدة على مستوى النتائج، ويسعى الفريق الضيف إلى تحقيق مفاجأة بإسقاط ريال مدريد على أرضه ووسط جماهيره، من أجل الحفاظ على حظوظه في المنافسة على المراكز المؤهلة للمشاركة الأوروبية في الموسم المقبل.
وخلال آخر خمس مباريات في الليغا، حقق ريال سوسيداد أربعة انتصارات وتعادل في مباراة واحدة، ليتقدم إلى المركز الثامن برصيد 31 نقطة.

On the other hand, Real Sociedad is experiencing a good period in terms of results, and the visiting team seeks to achieve an upset by defeating Real Madrid on its home ground and in front of its fans, in order to maintain its chances of competing for European qualifying spots for the next season.
In the last five matches in La Liga, Real Sociedad has achieved four victories and drawn one match, advancing to the eighth position with 31 points.
