قرر المدير الفني للمنتخب الوطني الأول إيرفي رينارد استدعاء حارس مرمى نادي العلا محمد العويس للالتحاق بمعسكر الأخضر في جدة قبل المغادرة إلى جمهورية صربيا، في إطار المرحلة الثالثة من برنامج الإعداد لكأس العالم FIFA 2026، التي تستمر حتى 31 مارس الجاري.
كما استدعى رينارد من معسكر المنتخب الوطني (B) اللاعبين: نواف بوشل، خليفة الدوسري، محمد محزري، محمد المجحد، وعبدالعزيز العليوة، للانضمام إلى معسكر الأخضر، وتحويل اللاعبين مراد الهوساوي وتركي العمار إلى معسكر المنتخب الوطني (B).
كما تم استبعاد اللاعب متعب الحربي من بعثة الأخضر المغادرة إلى جمهورية صربيا، وذلك بناءً على التقرير الطبي المقدم من الجهاز الطبي للمنتخب، الذي بيّن بعد إجراء الفحوصات اللازمة على موضع إصابته عدم جاهزيته، وحاجته إلى برنامج علاجي وتأهيلي.
وفي ذات السياق، قرر المدير الفني للمنتخب الوطني استبعاد اللاعبين علي لاجامي وحسن كادش من قائمة الأخضر المغادرة إلى صربيا بقرار فني.
وتغادر بعثة المنتخب الوطني الأول مساء اليوم (السبت) إلى العاصمة الصربية بلغراد استكمالًا للمعسكر الإعدادي المتضمن مواجهة منتخب صربيا وديًا الثلاثاء القادم.
وتضم قائمة الأخضر (27) لاعبًا، هم: نواف العقيدي، محمد اليامي، أحمد الكسار، محمد العويس، نواف بوشل، متعب المفرج، خليفة الدوسري، محمد محزري، عبدالإله العمري، ريان حامد، سعود عبدالحميد، علي مجرشي، أيمن يحيى، سلمان الفرج، عبدالله الخيبري، محمد كنو، نايف مسعود، محمد المجحد، خالد الغنام، عبدالعزيز العليوة، زياد الجهني، مصعب الجوير، سلطان مندش، عبدالله الحمدان، مروان الصحفي، صالح الشهري، فراس البريكان.
The head coach of the national first team, Hervé Renard, has decided to call up Al-Ola club goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais to join the Green’s camp in Jeddah before departing for the Republic of Serbia, as part of the third phase of the preparation program for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which continues until March 31.
Renard also called up from the national team (B) camp the players: Nawaf Bushal, Khalifa Al-Dosari, Mohammed Mahzari, Mohammed Al-Mojahid, and Abdulaziz Al-Aliwah, to join the Green camp, and transferred players Murad Al-Hosawi and Turki Al-Amar to the national team (B) camp.
Additionally, player Muteb Al-Harbi has been excluded from the Green delegation departing to the Republic of Serbia, based on the medical report submitted by the medical staff of the national team, which indicated that after conducting the necessary examinations on his injury site, he is not fit and requires a treatment and rehabilitation program.
In the same context, the head coach of the national team decided to exclude players Ali Lajami and Hassan Kadsh from the list of the Green team traveling to Serbia for technical reasons.
The national first team delegation will depart this evening (Saturday) to the Serbian capital, Belgrade, to continue the preparatory camp, which includes a friendly match against the Serbian national team next Tuesday.
