أعلن نادي توتنهام هوتسبير الإنجليزي، (السبت)، تعاقده مع المدرب الكرواتي إيغور تيودور لقيادة الفريق حتى نهاية الموسم، خلفاً للدنماركي توماس فرانك.

وقال النادي في بيان عبر موقعه الإلكتروني: «يسعدنا أن نؤكد تعيين إيغور تيودور مدرباً لفريق الرجال حتى نهاية الموسم، رهناً بالحصول على تصريح العمل».
وأضاف البيان: «ينضم إلينا إيغور بهدف واضح يتمثل في تحسين الأداء، وتحقيق نتائج إيجابية، والارتقاء في ترتيب الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، من خلال إضفاء مزيد من التنظيم والحماس والروح التنافسية على الفريق في مرحلة حاسمة من الموسم».
تيودور: مسؤولية واضحة
وفي أول تعليق له عقب توليه قيادة «السبيرز»، قال تيودور: «إنه لشرف كبير لي أن أنضم إلى هذا النادي في لحظة مهمة».
وتابع المدرب الكرواتي: «أدرك حجم المسؤولية الملقاة على عاتقي، وتركيزي واضح، ويتمثّل في تحقيق مزيد من الاتساق في أدائنا والمنافسة بثقة في كل مباراة».
واختتم تصريحاته قائلاً: «يضم هذا الفريق لاعبين ذوي جودة عالية، ومهمتي هي تنظيمهم، وتحفيزهم، وتحسين نتائجنا بسرعة».
موقف صعب
ويحتل توتنهام المركز الـ16 في جدول ترتيب الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز (بريميرليغ)، برصيد 29 نقطة، بفارق 5 نقاط فقط عن منطقة الهبوط.
English club Tottenham Hotspur announced on Saturday that they have signed Croatian coach Igor Tudor to lead the team until the end of the season, succeeding Danish coach Thomas Frank.
Tottenham’s Statement
The club stated in a release on its website: “We are pleased to confirm the appointment of Igor Tudor as the men’s team coach until the end of the season, pending work permit approval.”
The statement added: “Igor joins us with a clear goal of improving performance, achieving positive results, and climbing the Premier League table by bringing more organization, enthusiasm, and competitive spirit to the team during a crucial phase of the season.”
Tudor: A Clear Responsibility
In his first comment after taking charge of the Spurs, Tudor said: “It is a great honor for me to join this club at an important moment.”
The Croatian coach continued: “I understand the magnitude of the responsibility on my shoulders, and my focus is clear: to achieve more consistency in our performance and compete confidently in every match.”
He concluded his remarks by saying: “This team has high-quality players, and my task is to organize them, motivate them, and quickly improve our results.”
Difficult Position
Tottenham currently sits in 16th place in the Premier League table, with 29 points, just 5 points above the relegation zone.
