أتخذت أسرة الفنانة الراحلة سهام جلال إجراءات قانونية ضد أحد الأطباء جراء تعرضها لخطأ طبي خلال الفترة التي سبقت وفاتها.
لن نتنازل
وأكد شقيق الفنانة الراحلة خالد جلال أن الأسرة في البداية كانت لديها شكوك حول تعرض سهام لخطأ طبي، ولكن في ما بعد تأكدت الأسرة من الأمر، بعدما تلقت شكاوى عدة ضد الطبيب المعالِج لسهام جلال.
وقال في تصريحات إعلامية: «تلقّينا شكوى من أسرة أخرى تعرض أحد أبنائها لخطأ طبي على يد نفس الطبيب المعالج لسهام، وحدث معه مثل ما حدث مع شقيقتي، والرجل توفي، ونحن كأسرة لن نتنازل عن حقها».
خطأ طبي
وكشف شقيق الفنانة الراحلة سهام جلال، في مداخلة هاتفية سابقة مع برنامج «تفاصيل» الذي تقدّمه الإعلامية نهال طايل، تفاصيل الساعات الأخيرة في حياة شقيقته، مؤكداً أنها كانت تعاني من آلام في الظهر قبل اكتشاف إصابتها بمشكلة صحية في الشرايين، مشيراً إلى أن الأطباء شخّصوا الحالة بانسداد في شرايين القدمين، ما استدعى إجراء عملية جراحية، إلا أن حالتها تدهورت بعد العملية وفقدت حياتها، وقال: «كانت فعلاً تعبانة، ولكن دخلنا العملية وفقدنا أغلى حاجة».
وأكد أن الأسرة لا ترغب بالخوض في تفاصيل الوفاة أو الحديث عن احتمالات وجود خطأ طبي، موضحاً أن العائلة تمر بمرحلة حداد وتفضّل عدم توجيه اتهامات لأي طرف في الوقت الراهن إلا بعد التأكد.
The family of the late artist Sihem Jalal has taken legal action against a doctor due to a medical error she suffered in the period leading up to her death.
We Will Not Back Down
Her brother, Khaled Jalal, confirmed that the family initially had doubts about Sihem experiencing a medical error, but later the family became certain of the matter after receiving several complaints against the doctor treating Sihem Jalal.
He stated in media remarks: “We received a complaint from another family whose child suffered a medical error at the hands of the same doctor treating Sihem, and what happened to him was similar to what happened to my sister, and the man died. As a family, we will not back down from her rights.”
Medical Error
Khaled Jalal revealed in a previous phone interview with the program “Details,” hosted by media personality Nihal Tayel, the details of the last hours in his sister’s life, confirming that she was suffering from back pain before discovering a health issue in her arteries. He pointed out that the doctors diagnosed her condition as a blockage in the arteries of her legs, which necessitated surgery; however, her condition deteriorated after the operation, and she lost her life. He said: “She was really unwell, but we went into the operation and lost the most precious thing.”
He confirmed that the family does not wish to delve into the details of the death or discuss the possibility of a medical error, explaining that the family is in a mourning phase and prefers not to direct accusations at any party at this time until they are certain.
