أكد المدافع البرازيلي ماركينيوس أن منتخب بلاده يدخل مواجهة اليابان في الدور الإقصائي من كأس العالم بثقة متزايدة، مشدداً على أن الفريق يواصل التطور منذ الخسارة الودية أمام المنتخب الآسيوي، التي شكلت محطة مهمة لاستخلاص الدروس قبل البطولة.
ويلتقي منتخبا البرازيل واليابان في هيوستن في مباراة حاسمة على بطاقة التأهل إلى الدور القادم، بعدما فرض المنتخب الياباني نفسه كأحد أبرز مفاجآت البطولة عقب فوزه التاريخي على البرازيل بنتيجة 3-2 في المواجهة الودية التي جمعتهما في أكتوبر الماضي، إضافة إلى انتصاره على إنجلترا في ملعب ويمبلي، ما عزز مكانته كأحد المنتخبات المرشحة لتقديم مسار قوي في المونديال.
وقال ماركينيوس، مدافع باريس سان جيرمان، إن الهزيمة أمام اليابان كانت تجربة مفيدة ساعدت المنتخب البرازيلي على مراجعة أدائه، موضحاً أن الفريق استفاد من تلك المباراة في تطوير أسلوبه ومعالجة نقاط الضعف.
وأضاف: «كانت تجربة تعليمية مهمة بالنسبة لنا. كل ما مررنا به خلال السنوات الماضية أوصلنا إلى هذه اللحظة، وكل موقف يمثل فرصة للتعلم».
وأشار قائد الخط الخلفي البرازيلي إلى أن المنتخب شهد تغييرات كبيرة منذ تلك المواجهة، قائلاً إن الفريق «نما كثيراً» وأجرى تعديلات عديدة ساعدته على الظهور بصورة أكثر تماسكاً خلال المباريات الأخيرة.
وأشاد ماركينيوس بالمدرب الإيطالي كارلو أنشيلوتي، معتبراً أن خبرته الكبيرة وقدرته على قراءة المباريات أسهمتا في تحقيق الاستقرار داخل المنتخب، بعد فترة من الاضطرابات سبقت توليه المهمة في مايو من العام الماضي.
وقال: «في البداية لم نكن نعمل بالشكل المطلوب، لكن التعديلات التي أجراها المدرب غيرت الكثير. إنه مدرب ذكي، ويعرف كيف يطور اللاعبين. كل العناصر بدأت تنسجم معاً، ولدينا الجودة والثقة في الجهاز الفني».
وتسعى البرازيل، صاحبة الرقم القياسي بخمسة ألقاب عالمية، إلى تعزيز مسارها نحو لقب سادس، بعدما بدأت البطولة بالتعادل 1-1 أمام المغرب، قبل أن تحقق انتصارين متتاليين على هايتي وأسكتلندا بنتيجة 3-0.
من جانبه، ظهر أنشيلوتي، الذي يخوض أول كأس عالم له مدرباً، بحالة من الهدوء قبل المواجهة، مؤكداً أن مباريات الأدوار الإقصائية تتطلب تركيزاً ذهنياً وقدرة على التعامل مع مختلف السيناريوهات.
وقال المدرب الإيطالي: «نحتاج إلى عقل قوي، وقلب قوي، ووضوح في التفكير. في مباريات خروج المغلوب يمكن أن يحدث الكثير، ويجب أن نكون مستعدين لكل الاحتمالات. الفريق جاهز، ولديه الحافز والثقة».
ورغم إشادته بمستوى منتخبات مثل الأرجنتين وفرنسا، أكد أنشيلوتي أن المونديال لم يكشف بعد عن مرشح واضح للتتويج، مشيراً إلى أن المنتخب الياباني أصبح من بين أفضل المنتخبات عالمياً بفضل مستواه وتنظيمه وقدرته على منافسة الكبار.
