أشعلت الفنانة الكويتية غدير السبتي فتيل أزمة فنية جديدة وفتحت باب النقاش واسعاً عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، عقب تصريحاتها النارية حول النجاح الجماهيري الكبير الذي حققه المسلسل السعودي الشهير «شارع الأعشى» وبطلته الفنانة إلهام علي!
السبتي، وخلال حلولها ضيفة في برنامج «مسألة وقت»، رفضت بشكل قاطع نسبة نجاح المسلسل لشخص واحد، مشيرة إلى أن التضخيم الإعلامي لدور إلهام علي يغفل جهود المنظومة الكاملة للعمل، مؤكدة أن نجاح أي مشروع درامي يعتمد على التكاتف والجودة الجماعيتين.
ورغم إشادة غدير السبتي المباشرة بموهبة إلهام علي وأدائها، إلا أنها وجهت تساؤلاً استنكارياً أثار حالة من الجدل الشديد بين جمهور الفنانتين، حينما قالت: «هل كانت إلهام علي ستسحب البساط وتحقق هذه النتيجة لو قدمت المسلسل بمفردها دون هذا الفريق الشاب المتميز؟».
وأوضحت الفنانة الكويتية أن الممثلين الشباب ونجوم الصف الثاني كانوا العصب الحقيقي الذي منح «شارع الأعشى» ثقله الفني وقدرته على جذب الملايين، مشددة على أن صناعة الدراما لا تُبنى على بطولة مطلقة لفرد واحد مهما بلغ اسمه.
ولم تتوقف تصريحات السبتي عند «شارع الأعشى»، بل كشفت عن كواليس مثيرة، أبرزها صدام حاد وقع بينها وبين أحد المخرجين أثناء تصوير مشهد اعترضت عليه بطريقة مازحة، ليتحول الأمر إلى حالة غضب عارمة وشعور بـ«عدم التقدير» داخل «اللوكيشن».
كما أبدت شجاعة في تقبل تقديم «أدوار الأم» أمام نجمات أصغر سناً، واصفة العمر بأنه مجرد رقم في الفن، دفاعاً في الوقت نفسه عن تجربة إعادة تقديم المسرحية الأيقونية «باي باي لندن»، حيث أكدت أن تفاعل الجمهور في القاعات أثبت نجاح التجربة ورغبته في رؤية الكلاسيكيات بنكهة وطاقات جديدة.

During her appearance as a guest on the program “Matter of Time,” Al-Sabti firmly rejected attributing the series’ success to a single person, pointing out that the media exaggeration of Ilham Ali’s role overlooks the efforts of the entire team behind the work. She emphasized that the success of any dramatic project relies on collective collaboration and quality.
Despite Ghadeer Al-Sabti’s direct praise for Ilham Ali’s talent and performance, she posed a rhetorical question that sparked intense debate among the fans of both artists when she asked: “Would Ilham Ali have pulled the rug out from under everyone and achieved this result if she had presented the series alone without this outstanding young team?”
The Kuwaiti artist clarified that the young actors and second-tier stars were the real backbone that gave “Al-A’sha Street” its artistic weight and ability to attract millions, stressing that the production of drama cannot be built on the absolute stardom of one individual, no matter how famous they are.
Al-Sabti’s statements did not stop at “Al-A’sha Street,” as she revealed some intriguing behind-the-scenes moments, notably a sharp clash that occurred between her and one of the directors during the filming of a scene she jokingly objected to, which escalated into a state of overwhelming anger and a feeling of “lack of appreciation” on set.
She also showed courage in accepting to play “mother roles” in front of younger actresses, describing age as just a number in art, while simultaneously defending the experience of re-presenting the iconic play “Bye Bye London,” where she confirmed that the audience’s interaction in the theaters proved the success of the experience and their desire to see classics with a new flavor and energy.
