عقدت اللجنة الإعلامية لبطولة كأس الخليج لكرة القدم «خليجي 27» اجتماعها الثاني عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي، لمناقشة آخر التحضيرات الخاصة بالبطولة التي تستضيفها المملكة العربية السعودية، في أول نسخة من البطولة تقام في مدينة جدة، خلال الفترة من 23 سبتمبر إلى 6 أكتوبر 2026، بمشاركة ثمانية منتخبات خليجية تتنافس في 15 مباراة على ملعبي مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية ومدينة الأمير عبدالله الفيصل.
وترأس الاجتماع رئيس اللجنة الإعلامية خالد مبارك الكواري، بحضور كل من فيصل بن يوسف الطويهر، نائب رئيس اللجنة، وسطام علي السهلي، وسالم علي النقبي، وأحمد مهدي ميرزا، وأحمد الموسوي، وسيف الجابري، ممثلي الاتحادات الخليجية الأعضاء، ومحمد الغامدي، رئيس اللجنة الإعلامية المحلية.
وناقش الاجتماع آخر مستجدات العمل الإعلامي للبطولة، وعددًا من الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول الأعمال ذات الصلة، حيث أعربت اللجنة عن خالص شكرها وتقديرها للاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم، واللجنة المحلية المنظمة للبطولة، واللجنة الإعلامية المحلية، على جهودهم المتواصلة في التحضير للبطولة وتنظيمها، بما يضمن خروجها بالشكل الأمثل من مختلف الجوانب، ولا سيما الجانب الإعلامي.
كما بحث الاجتماع عددًا من الخطط والبرامج الإعلامية، وتم الاتفاق على تنظيم ورشة عمل للمنسقين الإعلاميين للمنتخبات المشاركة خلال شهر سبتمبر، إلى جانب تنظيم ثلاث ورش عمل للعاملين في اللجنة الإعلامية المحلية، تتناول العمليات الإعلامية، وإدارة المؤتمرات الصحفية، والتصوير الفوتوغرافي.
واستعرض الاجتماع كذلك تقريرًا حول مستجدات العمل الإعلامي للبطولة، وما تم إنجازه خلال الفترة الماضية، إلى جانب مناقشة الخطوات القادمة، واتخاذ عدد من القرارات ذات الصلة، بما يسهم في تعزيز جاهزية المنظومة الإعلامية للبطولة.
The media committee for the Gulf Cup football tournament “Gulf 27” held its second meeting via video conferencing to discuss the latest preparations for the tournament, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This will be the first edition of the tournament held in the city of Jeddah, from September 23 to October 6, 2026, with the participation of eight Gulf teams competing in 15 matches at the King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal City.
The meeting was chaired by the head of the media committee, Khalid Mubarak Al-Kuwari, in the presence of Faisal bin Yusuf Al-Tuwaiher, the vice president of the committee, and Sattam Ali Al-Suhaili, Salem Ali Al-Naqbi, Ahmed Mahdi Mirza, Ahmed Al-Mousawi, and Saif Al-Jabri, representatives of the member Gulf federations, along with Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, the head of the local media committee.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the media work for the tournament, along with several agenda items related to it. The committee expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Saudi Football Federation, the local organizing committee for the tournament, and the local media committee for their continuous efforts in preparing and organizing the tournament, ensuring it is executed in the best possible manner from various aspects, especially the media aspect.
The meeting also explored several media plans and programs, agreeing to organize a workshop for the media coordinators of the participating teams during September, in addition to organizing three workshops for the staff of the local media committee, covering media operations, managing press conferences, and photography.
The meeting also reviewed a report on the latest developments in the media work for the tournament and what has been accomplished during the past period, as well as discussing the upcoming steps and making several related decisions to enhance the readiness of the media system for the tournament.
