أقام رئيس الاتحاد السعودي لألعاب القوى السابق الأمير نواف بن محمد حفلًا تكريميًا ووداعيًا في منزله لمدرب المنتخب السعودي وفريق الهلال في ألعاب القوى الكابتن نصير سعدون، وذلك بمناسبة مغادرته إلى بلاده الجزائر بعد 34 سنة قضاها في تدريب المنتخب السعودي وفريق الهلال، حيث حقق خلالها نتائج مميزة وألقابًا داخلية ومحلية، وكان أبًا وناصحًا وقريبًا من كل اللاعبين، مما ساهم في توفيقه وتميزه ونجاحه طوال مسيرته التدريبية الكبيرة.
من جانبه، قدم المدرب نصير سعدون شكره وامتنانه للأمير نواف بن محمد على هذه اللفتة الكريمة والمبادرة الجميلة التي تجسد الوفاء، مشيدًا بدعمه واهتمامه ودوره العظيم في تاريخ ألعاب القوى السعودية وما تحقق لها من إنجازات إقليمية وعربية وقارية ودولية.
حضر الحفل العديد من قدامى الرياضيين ولاعبي فريق الهلال لألعاب القوى وإدارييه ومسؤوليه.
The former president of the Saudi Athletics Federation, Prince Nawaf bin Mohammed, held a farewell and honoring ceremony at his home for the Saudi national team coach and the Al-Hilal athletics team, Captain Naseer Saadoun, on the occasion of his departure to his home country, Algeria, after 34 years spent training the Saudi national team and Al-Hilal team. During this time, he achieved remarkable results and numerous domestic and local titles, and he was a father figure, advisor, and close to all the players, which contributed to his success and excellence throughout his extensive coaching career.
For his part, Coach Naseer Saadoun expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Prince Nawaf bin Mohammed for this generous gesture and beautiful initiative that embodies loyalty, praising his support, interest, and significant role in the history of Saudi athletics and the achievements it has accomplished regionally, Arabically, continentally, and internationally.
The ceremony was attended by many former athletes, players from the Al-Hilal athletics team, and its administrators and officials.
