بدأت جمعية المؤلفين والملحنين والناشرين في مصر تحركاً قانونياً لحماية حقوق أعضائها، بالتزامن مع تكثيف عمليات رصد ومراجعة المحتوى المستخدم عبر المنصات الرقمية، للتحقق من أي تجاوزات تطال المصنفات الفنية والحقوق المرتبطة بها.
تحرك قانوني
وأعلنت الجمعية، برئاسة الدكتور مدحت العدل، في بيان رسمي، اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة تجاه أي جهة يثبت تعديها على حقوق المؤلفين والملحنين وأصحاب الحقوق، وذلك من خلال المستشار القانوني للجمعية، عقب الانتهاء من عمليات الفحص والتوثيق.
وأوضحت الجمعية أن التحرك يأتي ضمن جهودها المستمرة للتعامل مع أي مخالفات تتعلق باستخدام المصنفات المحمية، مؤكدة أن الإجراءات القانونية ستستند إلى الحالات التي يثبت وقوعها من خلال عمليات المراجعة والتدقيق.
مراجعة المحتوى الرقمي
ويكثف فريق الحقوق الرقمية بالجمعية مراجعة الكتالوج الرقمي، إلى جانب تدقيق بيانات المصنفات والحقوق المتعلقة بها، ورصد آليات استخدامها عبر مختلف المنصات الإلكترونية.
كما يعمل الفريق على إعداد الملفات الفنية والتوثيقية الخاصة بالحالات محل المراجعة، تمهيداً لإحالتها إلى المسار القانوني حال ثبوت وجود تعديات.
حماية حقوق المبدعين
وتضع الجمعية ملف الحقوق الرقمية ضمن أولوياتها، في ظل الانتشار المتزايد للمصنفات الفنية عبر المنصات الإلكترونية، مؤكدة اعتمادها على آلية تجمع بين الرصد التقني والإجراءات القانونية.
ويتركز الجانب الأول على حصر المصنفات وتوثيق بياناتها وحقوق أصحابها، فيما يتولى الجانب القانوني اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة تجاه أي مخالفات تثبتها عمليات الفحص والتدقيق.
The Association of Authors, Composers, and Publishers in Egypt has initiated legal action to protect the rights of its members, coinciding with intensified efforts to monitor and review the content used across digital platforms, to verify any violations affecting artistic works and the rights associated with them.
Legal Action
The association, chaired by Dr. Medhat El Adl, announced in an official statement that it is taking the necessary legal measures against any entity proven to infringe on the rights of authors, composers, and rights holders, through the association’s legal advisor, after completing the examination and documentation processes.
The association clarified that this action is part of its ongoing efforts to address any violations related to the use of protected works, emphasizing that legal procedures will be based on cases proven through review and auditing processes.
Review of Digital Content
The digital rights team at the association is intensifying the review of the digital catalog, alongside auditing the data of the works and the rights related to them, and monitoring the mechanisms of their use across various electronic platforms.
The team is also working on preparing technical and documentary files for the cases under review, in preparation for referring them to the legal path if any violations are confirmed.
Protecting Creators’ Rights
The association prioritizes the file of digital rights, in light of the increasing spread of artistic works across electronic platforms, affirming its reliance on a mechanism that combines technical monitoring and legal procedures.
The first aspect focuses on cataloging the works and documenting their data and the rights of their owners, while the legal aspect is responsible for taking the necessary actions against any violations confirmed by the examination and auditing processes.
