خيم الحزن على الوسط الرياضي في مصر بعد وفاة اللاعب الشاب معتصم زكريا، لاعب نادي عمال المنصورة، إثر حادثة سير مأساوية بمحافظة الدقهلية، أثناء مشاركته في توزيع وجبات الإفطار والتمور على الصائمين قبيل أذان المغرب.
وبحسب ما تداولته وسائل إعلام محلية، فإن الحادثة وقعت على أحد الطرق السريعة، عندما تعرض اللاعب لحادثة صدم بسيارة خلال قيامه بعمل خيري لتوزيع وجبات الإفطار على المسافرين والمارة.
وأشار موقع الهيئة الوطنية للإعلام إلى أن اللاعب، البالغ من العمر 14 عامًا، فارق الحياة في موقع الحادثة، في واقعة مؤلمة هزّت الشارع الرياضي وأثارت حالة واسعة من التعاطف.
من جانبه، أعلن نادي العمال الرياضي وفاة لاعبه في بيان مقتضب عبر صفحته الرسمية، أكد فيه أن معتصم زكريا، لاعب فريق مواليد 2011، توفي إثر حادثة أليمة.
فيما نعى الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم اللاعب الشاب، وتقدم المهندس هاني أبو ريدة، رئيس الاتحاد، وأعضاء مجلس الإدارة والعاملون بالاتحاد وفرع الدقهلية لكرة القدم، بخالص التعازي إلى أسرة الفقيد، سائلين الله أن يتغمده بواسع رحمته ويلهم أهله وذويه الصبر والسلوان.
Sadness has enveloped the sports community in Egypt following the death of young player Moatasem Zakaria, a player for the Mansoura Workers Club, due to a tragic traffic accident in Dakahlia Governorate while he was participating in distributing iftar meals and dates to fasting individuals just before the Maghrib call to prayer.
According to local media reports, the incident occurred on one of the highways when the player was struck by a car while carrying out charitable work to distribute iftar meals to travelers and passersby.
The National Media Authority’s website indicated that the 14-year-old player passed away at the scene of the accident, in a painful incident that shook the sports community and sparked widespread sympathy.
For its part, the Mansoura Workers Club announced the death of its player in a brief statement on its official page, confirming that Moatasem Zakaria, a player born in 2011, died as a result of a tragic accident.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian Football Association mourned the young player, and Engineer Hani Abu Rida, the head of the association, along with board members and employees of the association and the Dakahlia Football Branch, extended their heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, asking God to grant him His vast mercy and to inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace.
