كشفت أسرة العندليب الأسمر عبدالحليم حافظ تفاصيل إنسانية نادرة رافقت الساعات الأولى بعد رحيله، لتسلّط الضوء على عمق العلاقة التي جمعته بـ«موسيقار الأجيال» محمد عبدالوهاب.
كواليس الوفاة
وفي منشور عبر الصفحة الرسمية على موقع «فيسبوك»، استعاد محمد شبانة، نجل شقيق عبدالحليم، جانباً من كواليس يوم الوفاة في 30 مارس 1977، مشيراً إلى أن عبدالوهاب توجّه باكراً إلى منزل حليم فور علمه بخبر الوفاة، كونه لم يرافقه في رحلته العلاجية الأخيرة بسبب خوفه من الطيران.
وأضاف شبانة: «طلب عبدالوهاب الدخول إلى غرفة نوم العندليب بمفرده، وأمضى وقتاً طويلاً خلف باب مغلق، رافضاً وجود أي شخص معه، وانهمك في تلاوة آيات من القرآن، قبل أن ينهار بالبكاء، ويبدأ بمخاطبة صديقه الراحل وكأن حليم كان معه في الغرفة».
كسرتني بموتك
وحول تفاصيل ما قاله محمد عبدالوهاب من كلمات مؤثرة داخل غرفة عبدالحليم حافظ، ذكر المنشور: قال عبدالوهاب إلى حليم «سبتني ليه يا بني، أنا كنت خايف قوي من اليوم ده وبدعي أنه ميجيش، هعمل إيه من غيرك دا أنت كنت سند، هتوحشني قوي، أنت وعدتني أنك هترجع ومحضرلي مفاجآت، أنت كسرتني بموتك».
وأشار شبانة إلى أن الموسيقار بقي داخل الغرفة لأكثر من ساعتين، قبل أن يخرج في حالة انهيار واضحة، بعدما عاش لحظات وداع خاصة مع من اعتبره رفيق دربه الفني والإنساني.
استقبال الجثمان
واستقبل جثمان العندليب في المطار نخبة من أبرز رموز الموسيقى والغناء، بينهم محمد الموجي وكمال الطويل وبليغ حمدي وعبدالرحمن الأبنودي، إذ تم نقل الجثمان سريعاً لإتمام مراسم الغسل والدفن قبل الجنازة الرسمية، خشية التدافع الجماهيري الكبير.

Behind the Scenes of the Death
In a post on the official page on “Facebook,” Mohamed Shabana, the nephew of Abdel Halim, recalled some aspects of the behind-the-scenes of the day of death on March 30, 1977, noting that Abdel Wahab went early to Halim’s home as soon as he learned of the news of his passing, since he did not accompany him on his last treatment journey due to his fear of flying.
Shabana added: “Abdel Wahab requested to enter the nightingale’s bedroom alone and spent a long time behind a closed door, refusing the presence of anyone with him. He immersed himself in reciting verses from the Quran before breaking down in tears and began addressing his late friend as if Halim were with him in the room.”
You Broke Me with Your Death
Regarding the details of what Mohamed Abdel Wahab said in touching words inside Abdel Halim Hafez’s room, the post mentioned: Abdel Wahab said to Halim, “Why did you leave me, my son? I was very afraid of this day and prayed that it wouldn’t come. What will I do without you? You were my support. I will miss you a lot. You promised me that you would return and had surprises prepared for me. You broke me with your death.”
Shabana pointed out that the musician remained in the room for more than two hours before emerging in a clearly distressed state, after having lived special farewell moments with someone he considered his artistic and human companion.
Receiving the Body
The body of the nightingale was received at the airport by a select group of prominent figures in music and singing, including Mohamed El-Mougy, Kamal El-Tawil, Baligh Hamdi, and Abdel Rahman El-Abnoudi. The body was quickly transported to complete the washing and burial rituals before the official funeral, out of fear of a large public rush.
