أعاد مدافع الأهلي زكريا هوساوي للأذهان المشهد الشهير للنجم الفرنسي زين الدين زيدان، بعدما حصل على بطاقة حمراء إثر تدخل بـ«نطحة» في نهائي كأس العالم 2006 أمام إيطاليا، عندما وجّه زيدان «نطحة» شهيرة للمدافع الإيطالي ماركو ماتيراتزي بعد احتكاك لفظي.
وتشابهت اللقطتان في التوقيت والضغط الكبير، فزيدان ارتكب فعلته في نهائي كأس العالم 2006 أمام منتخب إيطاليا، عندما نطح ماركو ماتيراتزي، ليغادر الملعب في آخر ظهور دولي له، ويترك منتخب فرنسا يكمل اللقاء منقوصاً قبل أن يخسر اللقب بركلات الترجيح.
وبالسيناريو نفسه جاء طرد زكريا في توقيت حساس، ليضع الأهلي تحت ضغط كبير في مواجهة ماتشيدا زيليفيا في نهائي دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة 2025-2026 على ملعب مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة،والذي كسبه بنتيجة هدف دون رد،محافظاً على لقبه القاري للمرة الثانية، ليُعيد«زكريا»التأكيد على أن فقدان السيطرة في النهائيات قد يغيّر مصير البطولات، بعد أن قام بـ«نطح» مهاجم فريق ماتشيدا الأسترالي تيتي ينجي في الدقيقة 68.
Al Ahly defender Zakaria Hossawi brought to mind the famous scene of French star Zinedine Zidane, after receiving a red card for a “headbutt” in the 2006 World Cup final against Italy, when Zidane delivered a famous “headbutt” to Italian defender Marco Materazzi following a verbal altercation.
The two incidents were similar in timing and immense pressure, as Zidane committed his act in the 2006 World Cup final against the Italian national team when he headbutted Marco Materazzi, leaving the field in his last international appearance and forcing the French team to continue the match with a disadvantage before losing the title in a penalty shootout.
In the same scenario, Zakaria’s red card came at a critical moment, putting Al Ahly under significant pressure in the match against Machida Zelvia in the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League final at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, which they won 1-0, retaining their continental title for the second time. Zakaria reaffirmed that losing control in finals can change the fate of championships, after he “headbutted” Australian Machida striker Titi Yengi in the 68th minute.
