في لحظة إنسانية فارقة تفيض بالرضا والوفاء، استقبل الفنان جورج وسوف حفيده الجديد من نجله حاتم وزوجته ليا برخيا، في حدث عائلي مؤثر كسر سنوات الحزن التي خيمت على منزل الفنان.

المفاجأة التي أثرت في مشاعر محبي الفنان كانت إطلاق اسم «وديع جونيور» على المولود الجديد، تيمناً بنجله البكر الراحل وديع وسوف، الذي توفي عام 2023 إثر مضاعفات عملية جراحية.

وفي أول تعليق رسمي، عبر جورج وسوف عن سعادته بمجيء الحفيد قائلاً: «الله كريم، وبيجبر الخاطر.. بعتلنا وديع تاني، صار عنا وديع جونيور».

تسمية الحفيد الجديد لم تكن مجرد اختيار عائلي، بل كانت إعادة إحياء للقب «أبو وديع» الذي رافق سلطان الطرب طوال مسيرته الفنية، ليبقى هذا الامتداد الروحي حاضرًا داخل العائلة.

وكان الراحل وديع وسوف هو الابن الأكبر لجورج وسوف من زوجته الأولى شاليمار، واليد اليمنى لوالده في إدارة أعماله ومرافقته خلال أزماته الصحية، قبل أن يغيبه الموت عن عمر ناهز 39 عاماً.

وتأتي ولادة «وديع الصغير» لتعيد البسمة لبيت وسوف، وتفتح صفحة جديدة من الأمل تخلّد ذكرى الراحل بأسلوب إنساني نبيل ومؤثر.

The naming of the new grandson was not just a family choice, but a revival of the title “Abu Wadi,” which accompanied the Sultan of Tarab throughout his artistic career, keeping this spiritual legacy present within the family.

The late Wadi Wassouf was George Wassouf’s eldest son from his first wife Shalimar, and his father’s right hand in managing his affairs and accompanying him during his health crises, before death took him at the age of 39.
