الشايقي لـ«عكاظ»: الإعلام صنع هوية الخليجية.. والتقنية رهان المستقبل – أخبار السعودية

أكد رئيس الاتحاد السعودي للإعلام الرياضي جبر الشايقي أن الإعلام الخليجي أسهم على مدى عقود في صناعة هوية خاصة لبطولات الخليج، وكان شريكاً أساسياً في تعزيز حضورها وتحويلها إلى حدث رياضي يحظى باهتمام واسع، مشيراً إلى أن المرحلة القادمة تتطلب مواكبة التطور التقني، مع المحافظة على المصداقية والموضوعية في تقديم المحتوى الرياضي.

وقال الشايقي لـ«عكاظ»، على هامش المنتدى الذي نظمه جهاز إذاعة وتلفزيون الخليج في جدة، إن بطولات الخليج شهدت منذ انطلاقتها تدرجاً فنياً رافقه تطور إعلامي، مبيناً أن الإعلام نجح في صناعة حدث رياضي مهم امتد صداه إلى خارج المنطقة، وأسهم في ترسيخ مكانة البطولة لدى الجماهير الخليجية.

وأضاف: «الإعلام اليوم شريك أساسي في تطور بطولات الخليج، وسيستمر في صناعة محتوى ورسالة إعلامية تواكب الزخم الذي تشهده البطولات الخليجية خلال السنوات القادمة».

وأشار الشايقي إلى أن جلسات المنتدى ناقشت تاريخ بطولات الخليج، وتأثير الإعلام في رسم الصورة الذهنية عنها، إلى جانب دور الإعلامي في تقديم رسالة مؤثرة تصل إلى المشاهد والمتلقي، مثمناً مشاركة نخبة من الإعلاميين الرياضيين من مختلف دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.

وأكد أهمية إقامة مثل هذه المنتديات، لما توفره من فرصة لتبادل الخبرات والاستفادة من تجارب الأسماء الإعلامية المخضرمة، بما يسهم في تطوير الإعلام الرياضي ومواكبته للتحولات التي يشهدها القطاع.

وحول مستقبل الإعلاميين الشباب في ظل استضافة المملكة عدداً من الأحداث الرياضية الكبرى، وفي مقدمتها كأس آسيا وكأس العالم 2034، أوضح الشايقي أن الشباب سيكون لهم دور كبير في المرحلة القادمة، داعياً إياهم إلى تطوير أدواتهم ومواكبة التقنيات الحديثة.

وقال: «نصيحتي للشباب هي مواكبة التطور التقني في الإعلام، وتقديم رسالة إعلامية صادقة وموضوعية تواكب الحدث، مع تحقيق التوازن بين السرعة والمصداقية في نقل الرسالة».

ولفت الشايقي إلى ما تشهده المملكة من دعم كبير للقطاع الرياضي واستضافة الفعاليات العالمية، مؤكداً أن ذلك يضع أمام الإعلام الرياضي مسؤولية متزايدة لمواكبة هذه المرحلة وتقديم محتوى يعكس حجم التطور والحراك الرياضي الذي تعيشه المملكة.

The President of the Saudi Sports Media Federation, Jabr Al-Shayeqi, confirmed that Gulf media has contributed over decades to creating a unique identity for the Gulf championships, and has been a key partner in enhancing their presence and transforming them into a sporting event that attracts wide attention. He pointed out that the upcoming phase requires keeping pace with technological advancements while maintaining credibility and objectivity in presenting sports content.

Al-Shayeqi told “Okaz,” on the sidelines of the forum organized by the Gulf Radio and Television Authority in Jeddah, that the Gulf championships have witnessed a gradual technical evolution since their inception, accompanied by media development. He indicated that the media has succeeded in creating an important sporting event whose impact has extended beyond the region, contributing to solidifying the championship’s status among Gulf audiences.

He added: “Today, the media is a key partner in the development of the Gulf championships and will continue to create content and a media message that keeps pace with the momentum that the Gulf championships will witness in the coming years.”

Al-Shayeqi noted that the forum sessions discussed the history of the Gulf championships, the media’s impact on shaping the mental image of these events, as well as the role of the media in delivering an influential message that reaches the viewer and recipient, appreciating the participation of a select group of sports journalists from various Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

He emphasized the importance of holding such forums, as they provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and benefit from the insights of seasoned media figures, which contributes to the development of sports media and its adaptation to the transformations occurring in the sector.

Regarding the future of young journalists in light of the Kingdom hosting several major sporting events, including the Asian Cup and the 2034 World Cup, Al-Shayeqi clarified that young people will have a significant role in the upcoming phase, urging them to develop their tools and keep up with modern technologies.

He said: “My advice to the youth is to keep pace with technological advancements in media, and to deliver a sincere and objective media message that aligns with the event, while achieving a balance between speed and credibility in conveying the message.”

Al-Shayeqi pointed out the significant support the Kingdom is witnessing for the sports sector and the hosting of global events, affirming that this places an increasing responsibility on sports media to keep pace with this phase and provide content that reflects the level of development and sports activity that the Kingdom is experiencing.
