تحول الحلم الاستثماري الموعود إلى معركة قضائية طاحنة في أروقة المحاكم الفيدرالية؛ بعدما واجهت النجمة الأمريكية سيلينا غوميز دعوى قضائية ثقيلة اتهمها فيها عدد من المستثمرين بالاحتيال المالي والتنصل الكامل من التزاماتها في مشروعها الناشئ للصحة النفسية «Wondermind Global».
القضية التي احتضنتها محكمة ولاية ديلاوير كشفت عن تبدد أكثر من 1.2 مليون دولار ضخها المستثمرون منذ إطلاق الشركة عام 2021. وكان الدافع الأكبر وراء تلك الأموال هو الوعود الوردية بتولي غوميز (التي تتربع على عرش السوشيال ميديا بأكثر من 500 مليون متابع) مهام مسؤولة التسويق والترويج اليومي لتعزيز مفهوم «اللياقة الذهنية».
لكن أوهام النجاح سرعان ما اصطدمت بأرض الواقع، إذ كشفت الدعوى أن النجمة الأمريكية وقّعت عقداً رسمياً يلزمها بمهام محددة ثم تجاهلته كلياً، بينما فشلت إدارة الشركة في تقديم أي مشروع حقيقي أو إطلاق تطبيق الهواتف الذي بُني عليه الاستثمار. بل وصل التردي الإداري إلى العجز عن دفع رواتب الموظفين ومستحقات الموردين الأساسية في أوقاتها.
لكن صدمة المستثمرين لم تكن بسبب الخسائر المالية فقط، بل لأنهم ظلوا مغيبين عن الفوضى الداخلية طوال سنين، ولم يكتشفوا العثرات إلا بعد تقرير صحفي استقصائي عبر الإنترنت كشف المستور في سبتمبر 2025. وتطالب الدعوى حالياً بإلزام غوميز بشركتها بإعادة جميع أموال الاستثمار، مع تحمل كافة المصاريف القضائية.
هذه المواجهة تضع سمعة نجمة «Only Murders in the Building» وسفيرة اليونيسف على المحك، خصوصا أن بريقها الإعلامي لطالما ارتبط بالدفاع الشرس عن الصحة النفسية عقب معاناتها الشهيرة مع مرض الذئبة الحمراء وزراعة الكلية.

The administrative decline even reached the point of being unable to pay employee salaries and essential supplier dues on time.
But the investors’ shock was not only due to financial losses, but also because they had remained oblivious to the internal chaos for years, discovering the setbacks only after an investigative online news report revealed the hidden truth in September 2025. The lawsuit currently demands that Gomez and her company return all investment funds, along with bearing all legal expenses.
This confrontation puts the reputation of the “Only Murders in the Building” star and UNICEF ambassador at stake, especially since her media shine has always been associated with a fierce defense of mental health following her well-known struggles with lupus and kidney transplantation.
