رجّح رئيس الاتحاد البرتغالي لكرة القدم بيدرو بروينسا عودة نجم النصر كريستيانو رونالدو للمشاركة مع منتخب البرتغال في فترة التوقف الدولي المقبلة، بعد أزمته مع جورجي جيسوس.
إيقاف احترازي
وكانت لجنة الانضباط بالاتحاد البرتغالي قد أعلنت اليوم (السبت) فتح إجراء تأديبي بحق كريستيانو رونالدو، مع إيقافه احترازياً، بسبب مغادرته معسكر المنتخب قبل مواجهة الدنمارك في دوري الأمم الأوروبية، عقب تفاقم أزمته مع جيسوس، الذي رفض الاعتماد عليه في مباراة النرويج رغم وعده بالمشاركة لمدة 30 دقيقة.
رغبة في عودة رونالدو
وقال بروينسا في تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة «أبولا» البرتغالية: «لن أعلق بأي شكل من الأشكال على الإجراء التأديبي بحق كريستيانو رونالدو، فهو إجراء طبيعي».
وأضاف: «أود التأكيد على ضرورة الهدوء، لقد تحدث رئيس الاتحاد البرتغالي، والمدرب، والقائد، واللاعبون، هذا هو وقت الهدوء والاتزان، ونحن نجلس جميعاً إلى طاولة واحدة، وهناك رغبة كبيرة في استعادة قائدنا في نوفمبر المقبل».
استمرار التحقيق
وتابع: «ستسير الإجراءات التأديبية بصورة طبيعية، وستتولى الجهات المختصة تقييم الأمر باستقلالية، لكن ما نؤكده هو رغبة الاتحاد البرتغالي في استعادة قائد المنتخب سريعاً طالما في حالة تسمح له بالمشاركة من الناحية الرياضية».
وأشار: «الأهم أن رونالدو نفسه لديه رغبة كبيرة في العودة إلى المنتخب، المكان الذي يقول إنه يشعر فيه بالسعادة، هذه لحظة ندعو فيها إلى الهدوء والاتزان، فكل منا يؤدي دوره، لأن الرغبة مشتركة بين الجميع».
«سوء فهم»
واختتم: «بعد تجاوز الخلافات، التي حرصت على وصفها بأنها مجرد سوء فهم، علينا التعلم مما حدث وفي الوقت الحالي، فإن رغبتنا هي عودة أفضل لاعب برتغالي في التاريخ إلى صفوفنا، بعدما أمضى أكثر من عقدين مع الاتحاد والمنتخب، وهما المكانان اللذان يحب الوجود فيهما، وسيوفر رئيس الاتحاد البرتغالي جميع الظروف اللازمة لتحقيق ذلك».

The Disciplinary Committee of the Portuguese Federation announced today (Saturday) the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against Cristiano Ronaldo, with a preventive suspension, due to his departure from the national team’s camp before the match against Denmark in the UEFA Nations League, following the escalation of his crisis with Jesus, who refused to rely on him for the match against Norway despite promising him 30 minutes of play.
Desire for Ronaldo’s Return
Proença stated in remarks reported by the Portuguese newspaper “A Bola”: “I will not comment in any way on the disciplinary action against Cristiano Ronaldo, as it is a normal procedure.”
He added: “I would like to emphasize the need for calm; the President of the Portuguese Federation, the coach, the captain, and the players have all spoken. This is a time for calm and balance, and we are all sitting at the same table, with a strong desire to bring our captain back in November.”
Investigation Continues
He continued: “The disciplinary procedures will proceed normally, and the relevant authorities will evaluate the matter independently. However, what we confirm is the Portuguese Federation’s desire to quickly reinstate the national team captain as long as he is in a condition that allows him to participate from a sporting perspective.”
He noted: “The most important thing is that Ronaldo himself has a strong desire to return to the national team, the place where he says he feels happy. This is a moment where we call for calm and balance, as each of us plays our role, because the desire is shared among everyone.”
“Misunderstanding”
He concluded: “After overcoming the disagreements, which I have insisted on describing as merely a misunderstanding, we must learn from what happened. At this time, our desire is to bring the best Portuguese player in history back to our ranks, after he has spent more than two decades with the federation and the national team, which are the places he loves to be in. The President of the Portuguese Federation will provide all the necessary conditions to achieve this.”
