كشفت الفنانة السورية سلاف فواخرجي موقفها من العودة إلى سورية بعد فترة من الغياب، موضحة أن عودتها إلى بلدها أمر محسوم من حيث المبدأ، لكنها لا ترتبط بموعد محدد أو مشروع فني بعينه.
وأوضحت سلاف خلال حديثها مع برنامج «ET بالعربي»، أن فكرة العودة لا تحتاج إلى مناسبة أو عمل فني لتبريرها، معتبرة أن العودة إلى الوطن حق طبيعي وارتباط الإنسان ببلده لا يتوقف على توقيت أو طريقة محددة.
موقفها من العودة إلى سورية
وعن إمكانية تحديد موعد لعودتها، أوضحت سلاف أنها لا تعرف متى ستتم هذه الخطوة، لكنها أكدت رغبتها في العودة، قائلة: «الله أعلم، بالتأكيد بلدي وسأعود»، مشيرة إلى أن الأمر مرتبط بالوقت المناسب.
وأكدت أن عودتها قد تكون من خلال زيارة أو ارتباط بعمل فني، لكنها لا تربط العودة بأي من الخيارين، مشددة على أن الأهم بالنسبة إليها هو العودة إلى الوطن في الوقت الذي تراه مناسباً.
سلاف فواخرجي عن عودة أصالة
وتحدثت سلاف عن عودة الفنانة أصالة إلى سورية بعد غياب استمر 15 عاماً، وإحيائها حفلاً في بلدها، موضحة أنها لم تتمكن من متابعة الحفل، لكنها سمعت ردود فعل إيجابية حوله، معربة عن أمنياتها بالتوفيق لها، مؤكدة أن عودة الفنان إلى بلده أمر طبيعي، وأن لكل شخص ظروفه وتوقيته الخاص في اتخاذ هذه الخطوة.
أمنية سلاف لسورية
وعن أمنيتها لسورية، اختصرت سلاف فواخرجي ما تتمناه لبلدها في أمنية واحدة، قائلة: «ماذا أريد كمواطنة سورية سوى أن يكون بلدي فرحاً؟»، معربة عن أملها في أن تنعم بلادها بالفرح وتتجاوز الظروف التي مرت بها، مؤكدة أن أمنيتها الأولى والأهم هي أن ترى وطنها في حال أفضل.
قرار الشطب
ويأتي حديث سلاف فواخرجي عن عودتها إلى سورية في ظل غيابها عن البلاد خلال الفترة الماضية، بعدما كانت نقابة الفنانين السوريين قد أصدرت قراراً بشطب اسمها من عضويتها.
وأوضحت النقابة، في بيان سابق، أن قرار الشطب جاء على خلفية ما وصفته بإصرارها على إنكار جرائم بشار الأسد، إلى جانب اتهامها بالتنكر لآلام الشعب السوري.

Sulaf explained during her conversation with the program “ET بالعربي” that the idea of returning does not need an occasion or artistic work to justify it, considering that returning to one’s homeland is a natural right and a person’s connection to their country does not depend on a specific timing or method.
Her stance on returning to Syria
Regarding the possibility of setting a date for her return, Sulaf clarified that she does not know when this step will take place, but she confirmed her desire to return, saying: “God knows, certainly my country, and I will return,” indicating that the matter is related to the right timing.
She emphasized that her return could be through a visit or a connection to an artistic work, but she does not tie her return to either option, stressing that what matters most to her is returning to her homeland at a time she sees as appropriate.
Sulaf Fawakherji on Assala’s Return
Sulaf spoke about the return of the artist Assala to Syria after a 15-year absence and her holding a concert in her country, explaining that she was unable to follow the concert, but she heard positive reactions about it, expressing her wishes for her success, confirming that the return of an artist to their country is a natural matter, and that everyone has their own circumstances and timing for taking this step.
Sulaf’s Wish for Syria
Regarding her wish for Syria, Sulaf Fawakherji summarized what she hopes for her country in one wish, saying: “What do I want as a Syrian citizen other than for my country to be happy?” expressing her hope that her country enjoys happiness and overcomes the circumstances it has gone through, confirming that her first and most important wish is to see her homeland in a better state.
The Decision to Expel
Sulaf Fawakherji’s remarks about her return to Syria come amid her absence from the country during the past period, after the Syrian Artists Syndicate issued a decision to expel her from its membership.
The syndicate clarified, in a previous statement, that the expulsion decision came in light of what it described as her insistence on denying the crimes of Bashar al-Assad, alongside accusations of her neglecting the suffering of the Syrian people.
