أزاح قائد المنتخب الإنجليزي الهداف هاري كين ابن موطنه المهاجم غاري لينيكر من صدارة هدافي بلاده في تاريخ كأس العالم، والذي كان يسجل باسم الأخير بعشرة أهداف، فيما تصدر كين القائمة عبر تاريخ الإنجليزي بالمونديال بـ«11 هدفاً» بعدما نجح في التسجيل في مرمى بنما خلال المواجهة التي جمعتهما ضمن ختام منافسات الجولة الثالثة من دور المجموعات.
وبذلك يكون كتب هاري كين اسمه بحروف من ذهب في سجلات الكرة الإنجليزية، بعدما أصبح الهداف التاريخي لإنجلترا في نهائيات كأس العالم برصيد 11 هدفًا، متجاوزًا رقم غاري لينيكر القياسي البالغ 10 أهداف.
وجاء الهدف ليمنح قائد إنجلترا إنجازًا تاريخيًا جديدًا، بعدما سجل في ثلاث نسخ من كأس العالم، مواصلًا تعزيز مكانته كأحد أبرز المهاجمين في تاريخ المنتخب، إلى جانب كونه الهداف التاريخي لـ«الأسود الثلاثة».
ويبتعد كين الآن في صدارة هدافي إنجلترا بتاريخ كأس العالم، متقدمًا على لينيكر 10 أهداف، ثم جيف هيرست 5، ويأتي كل من مايكل أوين وبوبي تشارلتون برصيد أربعة أهداف.
وسجل كين أهدافه المونديالية عبر ثلاث بطولات، إذ أحرز 6 أهداف في مونديال روسيا 2018، وتوج بالحذاء الذهبي كهداف للبطولة، وأضاف هدفين في نسخة قطر 2022، قبل أن يواصل تألقه في النسخة الحالية، مسجلًا ثلاثة أهداف حتى الآن، بينها هدفه التاريخي أمام بنما، إذ كان قد سجل هدفين في شباك كرواتيا في الجولة الأولى.
ومن المفارقات الطريفة أن 4 أهداف من الـ11 جاءت في مرمى منتخب بنما، حيث سجل كين 3 أهداف في نفس المنتخب في مونديال 2018، قبل أن يعود ويسجل هدفًا في 2026.

Kane now leads the list of England’s top scorers in World Cup history, ahead of Lineker by 10 goals, followed by Geoff Hurst with 5 goals, while both Michael Owen and Bobby Charlton have 4 goals each.
Kane has scored his World Cup goals across three tournaments, netting 6 goals in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where he won the Golden Boot as the tournament’s top scorer, adding 2 goals in the Qatar 2022 edition, before continuing his brilliance in the current edition, having scored three goals so far, including his historic goal against Panama, as he had scored two goals against Croatia in the first round.
Interestingly, 4 of Kane’s 11 goals have come against the Panama national team, as he scored 3 goals against them in the 2018 World Cup, before returning to score another goal in 2026.
