وثّق الباحث السينمائي خالد ربيع السيّد جوانب من تاريخ السينما العربية، وسلّط الضوء في كتابه الأحدث «سينما الاستنساخ المصرية» على آلية نسخ الأفلام الأجنبية وتحويلها إلى أفلام مصرية.
ويؤكد السيّد في مقدّمة الكتاب، أن إنجاز الكتاب استغرق منه ستة أعوام من البحث والاستقصاء، بدافع التعرّف على سيرة الأفلام المصرية، ورصد الأحداث والأفكار التي تناولتها، إضافة إلى تحفيز القارئ لمشاهدتها، والدخول في مقارنة مع الأفلام الأجنبية؛ التي وقعت السينما المصرية في الاستنساخ منها، دون انتقاص من شأنها.
فيما حوى الكتاب نقداً يهدف إلى الدعوة للتوقف عن الاستنساخ الإنتاجي الذي درجت عليه السينما المصرية منذ بداياتها في ثلاثينيات القرن الماضي، وأفرد الباحث فصلاً عن السينما المصرية الأصيلة الرصينة.
الكتاب صدر في 400 صفحة من القطع الكبير، ويضم قوائم وتحليلات وبوسترات عن الأفلام المصرية المنقولة من السينمات الأخرى.
The film researcher Khaled Rabi’ Al-Sayed documented aspects of the history of Arab cinema and highlighted in his latest book “The Egyptian Cinema of Copying” the mechanism of copying foreign films and transforming them into Egyptian films.
Al-Sayed confirms in the introduction of the book that it took him six years of research and investigation to complete the book, driven by the desire to learn about the history of Egyptian films, to track the events and ideas they addressed, in addition to encouraging the reader to watch them and to make comparisons with the foreign films from which Egyptian cinema has copied, without diminishing their value.
The book contains criticism aimed at calling for a halt to the production copying that Egyptian cinema has practiced since its beginnings in the 1930s, and the researcher dedicated a chapter to the authentic and serious Egyptian cinema.
The book was published in 400 pages of large format and includes lists, analyses, and posters of Egyptian films adapted from other cinemas.
