أكد المدير الفني للمنتخب الإماراتي الأول لكرة القدم الكرواتي زلاتكو داليتش، استعداد فريقه لمواجهة نظيره اليمني مساء غد (الخميس) على ملعب مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، ضمن منافسات بطولة كأس الخليج العربي «خليجي 27».
وأوضح داليتش خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عُقد اليوم (اﻷربعاء) أن المنتخب اليمني يمتلك الكثير من المهارات والسرعة في التحولات، مشيرًا إلى أن تركيزه ينصب على منتخبه، وهدفه الأساسي تقديم أفضل أداء لتحقيق الفوز، مبينًا أن المنتخب الإماراتي مستعد بدنيًا، وأن التطوير وممارسة كرة القدم بالشكل المطلوب يمثلان جانبًا مهمًا في المرحلة الحالية.
وأشار إلى أن لديه فلسفة خاصة في هذا النوع من البطولات، تتمثل في تقديم أفضل أداء والوصول إلى الدور القادم، مبينًا أن هذه البطولة هي الأولى له من هذا النوع مع المنتخب الإماراتي، وأنه يسعى إلى تقديم أفضل أداء.
من جانبه، أكد لاعب المنتخب الإماراتي سلطان عادل أهمية دعم الجماهير للمنتخب لتحقيق المطلوب، مشيرًا إلى أن ثقة المدرب تمنح اللاعبين حافزًا إيجابيًا، وأن وجود إسماعيل مطر ضمن الجهاز الفني يمثل إضافة للمنتخب، لما يمتلكه من تاريخ مع كرة القدم الإماراتية.
The head coach of the UAE national football team, Croatian Zlatko Dalic, confirmed his team’s readiness to face their Yemeni counterpart tomorrow evening (Thursday) at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, as part of the Gulf Cup “Gulf 27” competitions.
Dalic explained during the press conference held today (Wednesday) that the Yemeni team possesses many skills and speed in transitions, noting that his focus is on his own team, with the primary goal of delivering the best performance to achieve victory. He indicated that the UAE national team is physically prepared, and that development and practicing football in the required manner are important aspects at this stage.
He pointed out that he has a special philosophy in this type of tournament, which is to deliver the best performance and reach the next round, adding that this tournament is his first of this kind with the UAE national team, and he aims to provide the best performance.
For his part, UAE national team player Sultan Adel emphasized the importance of fan support for the team to achieve the desired results, noting that the coach’s confidence provides players with a positive motivation, and that the presence of Ismail Matar in the coaching staff is an asset to the team, given his history with Emirati football.
