سجل معرض ملتقى «عرش الحرف» حضوراً لافتاً من المهتمين بفنون الخط العربي، في مشهد يعكس تنامي الاهتمام باقتناء الأعمال الخطية الأصيلة، إذ شهد المعرض بيع 8 لوحات خطية، فيما يضم 71 عملاً تمثل مدارس متنوعة في فنون الخط العربي.
ومن أبرز المقتنيات التي استقطبت اهتمام الزوار لوحة للخطاطة العالمية مريم نوروزي نفذت بخط الثلث الجلي وزخرفت بالذهب عيار 18 قيراطاً، إلى جانب اقتناء عملين لخطاطين من منطقة الباحة، أحدهما للخطاط عبدالله سويلم بخط الديواني الجلي، والآخر للخطاط عبدالعزيز مجثل بالخط الديواني الزخرفي، في دلالة على الحضور المميز للمواهب السعودية في هذا الفن.
ويحتضن المعرض أعمالاً لعدد من أبرز الخطاطين، من بينها 4 لوحات نادرة للخطاط حليم أفندي، تمثل القوالب الأولى للكتابات التي نفذها في قبة جامع شيلي، وهي أعمال تحمل قيمة فنية وتاريخية استثنائية، وتعد من النوادر في تاريخ الخط العربي.
وأوضح المدير التنفيذي لملتقى «عرش الحرف» منصور مديس الغامدي أن الإقبال الذي يشهده المعرض يعكس تنامي الوعي بأهمية الخط العربي بوصفه فناً أصيلاً وموروثاً ثقافياً، مشيراً إلى أن المعرض يجمع نخبة من الخطاطين من داخل المملكة وخارجها، ويقدم أعمالاً تمثل مدارس متنوعة في فنون الخط العربي، ما أسهم في إثراء التجربة الثقافية للزوار.
وأضاف أن الملتقى يسعى إلى توفير منصة داعمة للمبدعين، وإبراز جماليات الخط العربي، وتعزيز حضوره في المشهد الثقافي، من خلال عرض أعمال نوعية تجمع بين القيمة الفنية والأصالة التاريخية، بما يرسخ مكانة هذا الفن بوصفه أحد أبرز روافد الهوية الحضارية والثقافية للمملكة.
The “Throne of Letters” exhibition attracted significant attendance from those interested in Arabic calligraphy, reflecting the growing interest in acquiring authentic calligraphic works. The exhibition witnessed the sale of 8 calligraphic pieces, while it features 71 works representing various schools in the art of Arabic calligraphy.
Among the most notable pieces that captured the attention of visitors is a work by the international calligrapher Mariam Nooroozi, executed in the Thuluth script and adorned with 18-carat gold. Additionally, two works by calligraphers from the Al-Bahah region were acquired, one by calligrapher Abdullah Suwailem in the clear Diwani script, and the other by calligrapher Abdulaziz Mujthal in the decorative Diwani script, indicating the remarkable presence of Saudi talents in this art.
The exhibition hosts works by several prominent calligraphers, including 4 rare pieces by calligrapher Halim Effendi, representing the initial templates of the writings he executed in the dome of the Shili Mosque. These works carry exceptional artistic and historical value and are considered rare in the history of Arabic calligraphy.
The executive director of the “Throne of Letters” forum, Mansour Madis Al-Ghamdi, explained that the turnout at the exhibition reflects the growing awareness of the importance of Arabic calligraphy as an authentic art form and cultural heritage. He pointed out that the exhibition brings together a select group of calligraphers from within the Kingdom and abroad, showcasing works that represent various schools in the art of Arabic calligraphy, which has enriched the cultural experience for visitors.
He added that the forum aims to provide a supportive platform for creators, highlight the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy, and enhance its presence in the cultural scene by showcasing quality works that combine artistic value and historical authenticity, thereby solidifying the status of this art as one of the most prominent tributaries of the civilizational and cultural identity of the Kingdom.
