فرضت لجنة الانضباط بالاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم «فيفا» عقوبات قاسية على خلفية الشجار والأحداث التي وقعت عقب نهائي كأس العالم 2026 بين إسبانيا والأرجنتين، الذي انتهى بفوز المنتخب الإسباني بهدف دون رد وتتويجه باللقب.
إيقاف باريديس 10 مباريات
وقررت لجنة الانضباط إيقاف لاعب وسط منتخب الأرجنتين لياندرو باريديس لمدة 10 مباريات، مع تغريمه 90 ألف دولار، بسبب دفعه والاعتداء على لاعب وسط منتخب إسبانيا غافي عقب المباراة النهائية.
مولينا 7 مباريات بسبب بدء الشجار
كما أوقفت اللجنة لاعب المنتخب الأرجنتيني ناهويل مولينا لمدة 7 مباريات، مع تغريمه 90 ألف دولار، على خلفية بدء الشجار واعتدائه بالضرب على رودري.
وقررت اللجنة كذلك إيقاف زميله تياغو ألمادا مباراة واحدة، مع تغريمه 30 ألف دولار، بينما تعرض روبرتو أيالا مساعد مدرب الأرجنتين ليونيل سكالوني، للإيقاف 3 مباريات إلى جانب غرامة مالية قدرها 30 ألف دولار، وفي المقابل، أوقف لاعب إسبانيا غافي مباراة واحدة مع تغريمه 30 ألف دولار.
غرامة ضخمة على الاتحاد الأرجنتيني
وأوقعت لجنة الانضباط غرامة قدرها 321 ألف دولار على الاتحاد الأرجنتيني لكرة القدم، بسبب عرض لافتة خلال نهاية مباراة نصف نهائي كأس العالم، حملت عبارة «جزر فوكلاند أرجنتينية».
وشملت العقوبة أيضاً مخالفات ارتكبها مشجعو المنتخب الأرجنتيني للوائح «فيفا» الخاصة بمكافحة التمييز خلال مباريات أخرى في كأس العالم.
تقليص الحضور الجماهيري
وبسبب هذه المخالفات، قررت اللجنة إلزام الاتحاد الأرجنتيني لكرة القدم بإقامة مباراتين على أرضه بحضور جماهيري لا يتجاوز 50% من سعة الملعب، مع تعليق تنفيذ العقوبة في المباراة الثانية، كما قررت تعليق تنفيذ مبلغ 100 ألف دولار من الغرامة، فيما يحق للاتحاد الأرجنتيني لكرة القدم الاستئناف على العقوبات الصادرة.
The Disciplinary Committee of the International Football Federation (FIFA) has imposed severe penalties following the brawl and incidents that occurred after the 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, which ended with the Spanish team winning 1-0 and being crowned champions.
10-Match Ban for Paredes
The Disciplinary Committee decided to suspend Argentina’s midfielder Leandro Paredes for 10 matches, along with a fine of $90,000, for pushing and assaulting Spain’s midfielder Gavi after the final match.
Molina 7 Matches for Starting the Brawl
The committee also suspended Argentine player Nahuel Molina for 7 matches, with a fine of $90,000, for initiating the brawl and physically assaulting Rodri.
Additionally, the committee decided to suspend his teammate Thiago Almada for one match, with a fine of $30,000, while Argentina’s assistant coach Roberto Ayala faced a 3-match suspension along with a $30,000 fine. In contrast, Spain’s player Gavi was suspended for one match and fined $30,000.
Massive Fine on the Argentine Federation
The Disciplinary Committee imposed a fine of $321,000 on the Argentine Football Association for displaying a banner during the semi-final match that read “The Falkland Islands are Argentine.”
The penalties also included violations committed by Argentine fans against FIFA’s anti-discrimination regulations during other matches in the World Cup.
Reduction of Spectator Attendance
Due to these violations, the committee decided to require the Argentine Football Association to hold two home matches with an attendance not exceeding 50% of the stadium’s capacity, with the execution of the penalty for the second match suspended. The committee also decided to suspend the execution of $100,000 of the fine, while the Argentine Football Association has the right to appeal the imposed penalties.
