علمت مصادر «عكاظ» أن الشؤون القانونية في نادي الاتحاد قدمت موقفها القانوني في حال رغبة النادي إلغاء عقد المدرب البرتغالي «سيرجيو كونسيساو»، إذ تضمن القرير قيمة الشرط الجزائي، وهو خمسة ملايين، وأن «كونسيساو» لن يتقاضى كامل عقده الذي ينتهي في صيف 2028.
كما علمت «عكاظ» أن الإدارة الحالية منعت من اتخاذ أي قرار في الوقت الراهن بعد حجب صلاحيات الإسباني «رامون بلانيس» الذي تولى منصب المدير الرياضي داخل النادي في يناير 2024، لحين التوصل إلى اتفاق على فسخ التعاقد الذي ينتهي في صيف 2027، وتعيين البديل.
يذكر أن «كونسيساو» تم التعاقد معاه خلفاً للفرنسي «بلان» وأشرف على 41 مباراة، فاز بـ 21 مواجهة، وتعادل في 7 مباريات، وخسر 13 مواجهة، وغادر كأس الملك من النصف نهائي، وحلا خامساً في ترتيب دوري روشن، وخرج من دور الثمانية في مسابقة دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة.
